To strengthen our commercial department we are looking for a sales manager for road freight.

Main TASKS:

  • Drive the growth of sales by strengthening existing relationships and acquiring new customers in our international FTL-LTL road transport department.

SKILLS, TRAINING AND QUALITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of transport and logistics is required
  • Market knowledge LU, FR and Benelux
  • Knowledge of the general rules in European FTL LTL business (e.g. driving rest periods, cabotage, ADR etc…)
  • Secondary education, administrative section
  • Excellent communication skills, discretion and empathy
  • Punctual, autonomous, organised and multitasking
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good command of IT and office automation tools
  • At least 2 years‘ professional experience in a similar role
  • Openness & team player
  • Flexibility (also for business trips)
  • Independence
  • Creativity in customer acquisition and development of sales strategy
  • Knowledge of various product groups (e.g. industrial goods, paper, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, steel…)
  • Knowledge of market prices
  • IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, BI, TMS

LANGUAGES REQUIRED:

  • French
  • English
  • German
  • any other language will be considered an asset
