MAIN MISSIONS :
The heavy-duty tyre technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of tyres on industrial vehicles (trucks, trailers, special machinery), in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mount and dismount heavy-duty and other tyres
- Check tyre condition (wear, pressure, compliance)
- Follow instructions to carry out repairs (punctures, tyre rotation on the rim, replacements if applicable)
- Perform basic adjustments (pressure, depending on equipment)
- Work in the workshop and/or provide roadside assistance
- Ensure traceability of all interventions (work reports, digital tools, documentation)
- Inform the garage manager / workshop supervisor of any irregularities related to the work
- Strictly apply safety rules and internal procedures
👤 PROFIL SOUGHT
- Technical training (CAP/BEP in mechanics, light/heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent)
- Experience in heavy-duty tyres or industrial mechanics preferred
- Good physical condition (handling, outdoor work)
- Autonomy, precision and customer-service orientation
- Category B driving licence required (Category C appreciated depending on the position)
Required skills
- Compliance with safety and quality instructions
- Team spirit and reactivity
- French (written and spoken)
- German and Luxembourgish are considered an advantage
