Dispatcher – logistics coordinator job: its main missions
In our company, the position of dispatcher or transport manager covers different roles in the same job: transport planner, organiser or logistics coordinator. Here are the main missions:

Analysing our clients’ shipping requests according to destinations and distances, delivery times and traffic conditions, tonnages, freight value, etc…

Selecting the most suitable transport equipment for each order and dividing the work of collection and delivery between our drivers.

Choose the road routes in compliance with the regulations and safety rules in force.

Follow the position of the freight in real time and control the good progress of the transport thanks to modern means of communication.

Optimize the round trips of our drivers to avoid sources of additional costs such as empty transport.

Supervise the administrative documents related to each transport operation.

To study all the financial parameters of the transport operations in order to ensure their profitability.

Dispatcher – logistics coordinator job: the profiles we are looking for
The skills we’re looking for:

Level of training Logistics Technician.

Mastery of the basic computer tool as well as modern means of communication.

Mastery of French and/or German and/or English and/or Russian.

Basic technical knowledge of heavy goods vehicles.

Knowledge of transport legislation.

Solid geographical knowledge.

An introduction to the transport of dangerous goods is a plus.
