Arthur Welter France Reduces the Carbon Footprint of Its Fleet: A Voluntary Commitment to a More Sustainable Future
Since May 2025, Arthur Welter France has been a signatory of the CO₂ Charter — a national initiative led by ADEME and the French Ministry for Ecological Transition, aimed at supporting transport companies in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.
As part of this commitment, the company has taken a major step forward: 90% of its fleet now runs on OLEO 100, a 100% plant-based fuel. This bold move reflects the company’s determination to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
“The conversion of our French fleet to OLEO B100 is another step towards greater sustainability in our operations. ARTHUR WELTER will continue to support its clients in the decarbonization of their transport and supply chain activities.”

OLEO 100: A High-Performance Alternative to Diesel
OLEO 100 is a renewable fuel made from French-grown rapeseed, and contains no palm oil.
A dedicated storage tank has been installed at the Ennery site to ensure direct supply to the fleet. This partnership with Oleo100 reflects Arthur Welter France’s ambition to combine economic performance with energy transition.
Thanks to this switch, the fleet’s CO₂ emissions have already been reduced by over 50% — and this is just the beginning.
Concrete Projects Ahead
Alongside this fuel transition, all drivers have received eco-driving training to further reduce the carbon footprint. Additional initiatives are also planned, including the rollout of a tire pressure monitoring system later this year.
Arthur Welter France reaffirms its commitment to being a responsible and proactive player in sustainable transport — going above and beyond regulatory requirements.
